December 2020. Mini-Concert "Flasmob" style, through the streets of Estepona
On December 19, 2020, the Coral Magnum Mysterium took to the streets, and toured part of the town center, performing the traditional songs "Adeste Fideles" and "Noche de Paz". We have done it instead of the celebration of the Christmas Concert, which had to be suspended.
Here below you have a summary that Estepona Television made about this event.
The COVID-19 Crisis
The health crisis generated by Covid-19 has caused the Magnum Mysterium Choir to be forced to suspend different events and projects that it had scheduled for this year. Among them, the organization of the First International Choir Meeting, in Estepona, which had to be held in March. However, we have not remained quiet, and some of the members of the Choir have created a video mosaic, with a recording of the song "Esta Tierra", by Javier Busto. Here you have a link to an explanatory video, as well as a link to the mentioned video mosaic
This International Choir Festival had to be cancelled
"...For this new edition, which will take place from March 13 to 15, more than twenty activities have been scheduled. Among them, Begoña Ortíz, has announced that as a novelty this year our town will host for the first time the I Estepona International Choir Festival that will have the participation of the Ibero-American Choir Tantanakuy of Malaga, the Choral Association 'Andrés del Río Abaurrea' of Ceuta , the 'San Juan Bautista' Choir of Coín, Chorale Al Boughaz of Tangier and the Young Choir of the 'Gonzalo Martín Tenllado' Conservatory of Malaga, as well as the Magnum Mysterium Choir and the choirs of the San José and Atalaya schools of Estepona. It will be held on Saturday, March 14, at 7:00 p.m., in the Plaza del Reloj..."
